Currenty running an NVidia Geforce4 Ti4400 and it's getting to be a dog since it's over 1.5yr old. I don't want to dump a lot of money into a new video card but I do want to be able to play games on my Hitachi 53UWX10B 53" HDTV. I read somewhere a while back that you can software hack an ATI Radeon 9000 to be a 9500? Anyone have any links on how to do this or has anyone done it and how were the results? Also can I get the component video out adapter for this card? I have read mixed reviews about it in the past and was wondering how well the ATI dongle works for gaming etc. with custom resolutions. The TV I have doesn't have a DVI input so I'm stuck with component.

THANKS!

try the rage 3d forum for those kinds of tweaks, they have all of the voltage mod, bio's flash ect....I have a bone stock 9000, works good on UT2K3. Power strip as well as the rage 3d tweaker allows you to overclock your video card. I have used both and like power strip better, as it is less buggy.
