Hi there, I am trying to get my ATI Radeon AIW 9000 Pro to output the TV sound to my ASUS A7V8X-X SPDIF connector but am not having any luck. Has anyone channeled their TV sound through an SPDIF connector on the Motherboard? I know it will not come out on the SPDIF connector of the AIW card. Does anyone have TV sound coming out of the SPDIF connector of a Soundblaster Live!? Any help is appreciated.

Yes, but only after I feed the analog sound from the AIW to the sound card.

I've found if you engage the TV-On-Demand feature (TiVo-like recording) the SPDIF becomes ACTIVE. If I switch TOD off the SPDIF goes off as well. This would be ok if my receiver could auto-switch but there is SOMETHING being sent out on the SPDIF as my Yamaha 995 will not seek the analog input. I get TV sound while NOT TOD only if I select the analog input of my A/V receiver.
