What are your thoughts on the remote wonder?


Is it configurable with girder? How is the mouse control?


I was thinking of getting one of these and using it instead of my Intel wireless kb/mouse..

I don't know about girder but the mouse control sucks. Neat little toy for a while but stick with a conventional key/mouse. I went with bluetooth because of its range. Advertised at 30 ft. but I'm easily getting 50'. I only wish the keyboard was lit.

I get more than enough range out of my Intel set.. it's uses the 900mhz band, so it gets great range..


What I don't like about it is that it's too big, that why I wanted to get the remote wonder: it's small, RF based, and uses usb..


anyone else try it with girder?

If configured right, the mouse control works just fine for the remote wonder. It is supported under Girder, there's a plugin especially for it here: http://www.girder.nl/plugins.php I tried it out for a short while, but I didn't need that much automation, the plugins for the remote's software were more than enough for me.
