when reading the AVIVO HD White Paper, one may find out that ATi's UVD2 supports bitstream decoding for all Blu-Ray Disc video formats, including MPEG-2. But how can a DXVA enabled decoder take advantage of it? According to DXVAChecker, the ATi driver does not support 'ModeMPEG2_VLD'.
Anybody heard of a solution?
