ATI VGA to component video adapter

377 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  CJO
I just bought the ATI VGA to Component video adapter for my Sony Vaio PCG-V505BCP laptop computer. I haven't really tried anything yet, but I just wanted to make sure that I set it up right. I want to connect it to my television. I don't have a dual display capable ATI graphics card obviously, because it's a laptop, but I want to switch the primary display over to the TV. Do I need a different driver, or anything else?

Any and all information or help is appreciated! Thanks.

I'm not positive, but I don't think that you will be able to get it to work. The ATI video adapters were made specifically for ATI cards. Does your Vaio use an ATI card for its video?
