Attaching an Apple TV / Cable Box

I will preface this by saying that I have no idea where on AVS to post this question so if it is more appropriate in another forum please advise where.

I am in the midst of a fireplace remodel and only have an Apple TV and AT&T TV streaming box that I need to have hidden. Because of the stone being installed and having a mount that will be pulled out at times nearly two feet, mounting them on the back wall would stretch the power cords too much. Therefore I want to attach them whether it be with Velcro or some other type of adhesive to the back of the television. I will pick a couple of spots that don’t have vents where the tv will need airflow. I found some holders that fit the devices perfectly so that I can then mount them but I want to know what product I should use to attach them to the back of the TV.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Mike

I've had good luck with double sided Gorilla tape for stuff I never need to move. If there's a chance I'd need to occasionally move it, I use industrial hook & loop tape instead like 3M Dual Lock.
I do this on two of our televisions. One just has a ATV 4K. The other has an ATV 4K and a harmony hub. I use the peel and stick Velcro for all of it. Home Depot sells it in pre cut 2” circles. They’re the perfect size.
