Attaching Screen Samples

I've got some new screen samples to compare with my old screen. Can I just tape these to my existing screen using masking tape?

just be careful with tape that leaves a residue, maybe use painters tape instead. you could tape something above the screen and use some clips and string to hang them over the screen

Yep, that's what I was thinking, some painters blue tape.
