I've finally got my HTPC coming together, but I've run into a problem hooking up my Audigy2 5.1 output to my Bose speakers via my receiver. My goal is to listen to WM Pro 5.1, so I have to hook my Audigy2 output to my receiver's 5.1 external inputs.

If I hook all 6 channels to the receivers 5.1 external inputs, I loose subwoofer. My Bose speakers only accept 5.0 input from my receiver :-(. I think this is the same with many Bose speaker systems.

If I switch the Audigy2 software to use a 4/4.1 speaker setup, I get subwoofer, but I loose the center channel.

Is there some way to make the subwoofer signal go to the other 5 channels so the Bose "subwoofer" will produce base?

I even tried combining the front right and subwoofer outputs from the Audigy2 so that both signals went to the front right input on the receiver. This seemed to work for some signals, but it resulted in less volume for the FR channel and some base signals were entirely produced by the FR speaker...

Any ideas?

Thanks, Lee
