Was hoping for some help from some of the audiophiles out there.
I have distributed audio through my house that has a control box in the basement.
The control box has an audio out that was destined for outside. Problem is that the amplified signal I believe will only power maybe two small speakers.
I would like to have 6 150 watt speakers outside.
My question is can I run the amplified signal from the control box to say an amplifier (inside) with multiple outputs that I can run to the outside speakers?
Do I need something special that can handle the amplified signal? Or can I run the amplified signal to any type of amplifier and still run the speaker out wires?
I have seen car in-line amplifiers - would that work?
Any suggestions of products would be GREATLY appreciated.
