I would be most grateful if anybody could help me with this problem. I need to output 2 independent audio streams from my pc. One stream to be 5:1 from the DVD player, the other to output music to an amplifier in antoer area. Both streams need to be able to be played simultaneously.
My system is as follows:
Abit AV8 K8T800 with AMD 64 3800+ processor (includes onboard audio)
1GB Corsair pc 3200 memory
ATI AIW 9800 Pro video card
Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro sound card
1 x 120GB and 1 x 250GB HDDs
Panasonic DVD drive
Sony CDRW drive
DVI connection to Pioneer HD Plasma
SPDIF to Bose Lifestyle system for dvd and music output
RCA out to Niles amplifier in another room
