Has anyone else experienced audio dropouts on the DST3000? I evaluated the unit for a week and noticed numerous dropouts on my local CBS station. I do not get these with my Dish 6000 or the Panasonic HDS20. Any thoughts?

I get neither drop out. I believe it might have to do with the signal strength. On my DTC-100 I had audio dropouts. On the DST3000 my signal went up to 100% on OTA and mid 90's satelite. Much stronger than the DTC and the dropouts are gone.

Everyone should keep in mind signal strength is a relative thing. A 90 on one unit could be 70 on another. You can't compare these numbers across manufacturers. Even unit to unit is relative.

Maybe it has to do with are Audio Receivers pulling in the signal or the DST3000 receivers themselves.

I have also been experiencing occasional audio and video dropouts (always simultaneously) on my DST-3000. However, I have only noticed them while watching HDTV broadcasts, so I figured it was the local broadcaster's problem, rather than mine.

If someone knows differently, I would be very interested to learn about it.
