I'm wanting to build the high end ATX system on page 85 which recommends the ASUS M3N72-D motherboard. This has a coaxial spdif audio out, but my Sony STR-4ES audio receiver takes optical spdif only. Also, my PC will be about 30 feet away from the receiver, and I already have a long RCA cable running between the 2 places which I made using a CAT5 wire. Would this cable work to send spdif coax audio from the PC to audio receiver? Here's what I'm thinking:

PC's spdif coax out > 30 ft RCA cable > Spdif coax to optical converter box > Audio Receiver's spdif optical input

Any other suggestions? I'll need to run an hdmi cable between the two places too. But my audio/video receiver doesn't have hdmi inputs so I can't use audio from that, unless there's way split it from and hdmi cable to spdif optical.
