I just purchased an LG 42LC2D at circuit city and I have a question about it.

Right now my only HD source is from a rabbit ears antenna. I get about 6 HD channels at very good signal strength. I'm seeing that with some HD channels, there is an audio delay. Sometimes more noticeable than others, but i do notice it. Is it a faulty tv? Any solutions i can try? Thanks.

Just set my new 42LC2D up and it also has the audio sync issue. Sometimes worse than other times, different channels/programs worse than others. At times, its unwatchable! I saw on another thread to turn off some of the audio effects so I'm going to try that, but other than the sync issue, I like the unit very much. I hope it's reliable cause I just threw away a 32" Syntax Olevia that stopped turning on.

yeah, i tried changing the audio effects on the tv, but no luck. as long as it's not anything wrong with the tv, or as long as a different tv wouldn't be as bad about it, i can deal with it.

seems like if i send the audio directly to the stereo, then the audio is in sync just fine, but if i send the audio to the tv, and use the tv speakers, then it is out of sync. It surprising that the audio would be behind the image, if anything I would've thought it would be the other way around, due to the image processing that must take place. Is this a fault with this particular model or brand? Would this not be an issue with a different tv?

Just purchased my LG 42lc2d and have no audio issues with the speakers. I would like the mount the tv to the wall but the directions are not clear on who to remove the stand. Has anyone remove the stand from the 42lc2d tv??? If so, how did you do it????

I'll be getting mine Thursday night and wall mounting on Saturday. I'll post here when I figure it out.
