After realizing that the Comcast tech only hooked up the 5100 via audio out to my a/v receiver I hooked up the coax digital. I have a Marantz 5200 and went into the menu and setup the audio outputs for the TV to reflect Digit4 connection. I left the audio connection hooked up also.

Now, when I'm watching TV through the Digital input all the analog channels (2-99) are 10-12 DBs higher than the digital channels (100 +).

Example: if I'm watching HBO-HD on channel 300 I set the volume to the proper listening level. If I switch to any analog channel, the volume spikes up almost 10-12 DB. If I switch my A/V receiver to the anolog audio input, all levels are the same!

Anybody have any ideas as what is going on? What did I do wrong?

Help would be appreciated....

Thanks,

Jules
