Audyssey presets with Denon 1910?

910 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Kal Rubinson
My room does not allow many options for TV placement. I have had the tv in the corner for awhile with the couch against the length wall. This is the optimal use of the room but not optimal for watching tv. I sometimes move my couch so that it is directly in front of the tv crossing the room at an angle. This works for the night but the couch goes back against the wall when I'm done.

Does Audyssey on the Denon 1910 have presets so that I can set it up with optimal sound for when the couch is against the wall and then switch it to the setup I have for when the couch is directly in front of the tv? I'll probably be setting up a 7.1 system. I'll be receiving the Denon tomorrow hopefully.

I don't believe the audyssey employed in avrs has presets. you do have a choice of a target curve in some avrs, but that's all.

Not possible. The 1910 will only entertain one Audyssey correction but you can choose to defeat it when you are in another arrangement. The only AVR that I know of that will support corrections for multiple arrangements is the Sherwood R972. It is a bit pricier than the 1910.
