I know there has been plenty of discussion regarding the Auto-Record feature, but I was wondering if anyone's noticed this problem.
I have "The X-Files" set up as an Auto-Record, "Exact Title" search (with NO narrowing), and I've been happily watching episodes the past few weeks. However, I noticed an add for "X-Files, the Movie" that would have played about 4 hours before noticing the add (funny how you can still spot adds that are important to you even with the skip button!). One drawback to time-delay viewing!
Well, I assumed that the title must be slightly different for the movie, or the auto-record would have picked it up, right?
Wrong.
I scanned the guide for a repeat of the movie over the next week and noticed it was playing again next week: "The X-Files" (the movie). The title was exactly the same as the series, but STILL was not picked up by the auto-record.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? Is this a bug? A feature of some sort?
