Does anyone know of an autosensing Toslink switcher (2 outputs to 1 input), which works with Sony changers (the AudioAuthority unit does not autosense Sony units). Want to be able to use two Sony changers with via digital (Toslink) outputs, to 1 toslink input on a Sony preamp. Any units out there that are reasonable in price??


Would appreciate anyone's feedback...

Go to: msbtech.com and look at the Digital Director. It has 4 co-ax in's and 2 optical in's and 2 co-ax outs and 1 optical out.It turns on when it senses a signal.I paid $199 plus $19 to ship for mine.Mine is silver,the unit costs more in black,they said because of painting.It also is a anti- jitter device.The listed price on their webpage is now higher,tell them you saw te unit in AUDIO MAGAZINE for $199 and see if they honor that price.

Black was $320! So I took silver! I wanted black but....The thing seems very well-built,it's heavy.You won't run out of inputs anytime soon with one of these.

Rachael, Thank you VERY much for the lead. It still is higher than I wanted to spend on a switcher, but if I have no other options may have to consider it!
