Av Switcher Question - Upconverting

I have my a/v equipment across the room from my HDTV. This is due to the layout of the room and where the Directv comes off my roof and down into my basement. So what I have is my VCR (composite), DVD player (Component video), First Gen Tivo (s-video), and HD-Directv (Component video). I would like to upconvert them all to component so I only have one cable to run across the room. The only product I see that I think might do this is a DVDO iScan HD+ DVI Video Scaler/Processor & A/V Switcher, which is a fair chunk of change. If someone has alternitives I'd love to hear about them.


If anyone can confirm this is were I need to be reading reviews, I thank you ahead of time.

These items seem to not upconvert.
