which is better and more user friendly.planning on getting one soon.would like to find out which one.thanks

that review seemed to be geared more towards assessing the video portions of the calibration discs rather than the audio. I have digital VE but have not used Avia. I would take the advise of a few AVSers who have experience with both rather than go by the review.

This has been discussed many many times in the past. I will say what I've said dozens of times before:


I own both. I use Avia 90% of the time. I bought DVE only because it contains data 235, which is useful for testing this in systems, while Avia does not. Once I have Avia Pro, I will have no use for DVE whatsoever. It has terrible navigation.

DVE is pretty confusing to navigate, even though one of the first things they try to teach is how to navigate the DVD. I think my remote is missing one of the menu buttons too... which was also discussed.
