I appreciate your honesty in acknowledging that you receive commissions on products you review that get sold. However, it lends an invalidity to anything positive that you might say. Of course, with a possible commission in mind, you will refrain from stating or pointing out any problematic issues this Lexicon and other products you might have reviewed.
Thus, I really can't take your reviews too seriously, but more as an overview of a product which would make me look elsewhere for a real review that might contain both positive and negative attributes.

As a former product reviewer with over 300 published articles, I never received commissions and turned any down for just that reason. My reviews were all for camera gear, cameras, studio lights and various editing software and I was always able to keep any product I reviewed which added up to several thousands of dollars worth of free gear, but I never once hesitated to point out any misgivings I may have had on any product. Now, if something was really lousy, I just refused to write the review, but that was rarely the case.
I think that the reason why I was successful was because the honest evaluations always shown through, and both the readers and companies were happy and never complained.

Even before then, when I sold high end stereo gear, I was not on commission and could always be honest about my opinions and in my suggestions.
There is no question that you know from where you speak, but that you get commissions, as much or as little as that may be, still leaves your writing as suspect.

FYI, this is not a review. This is the "Great Found Deals" section of the forum where you post stuff that's on sale. I have not reviewed this product, nor do I have any plans to. As for any affiliate commissions, they go towards keeping the site running, I'm not getting any sort of bonus for posting the links... it's just my job.

because there are dealer who have to deal with MAP and other nonsense thrust upon them by manufacturers. I will happily pm anyone interested but will not post them publicly, unless they have already done so.

On the off chance you are NOT trolling and simply do not understand MAP, let's try an example.

AVS sells JVC projectors.
AVS can NOT advertise those projectors for sale other than at list price.
AVS sells JVC projectors for LESS than list price if you call and discuss it with them.
I think that should be simple enough for you to grasp.

Self evidently, I can't post a deal that is "against the rules" to post, like what a dealer skirting their way around MAP would charge. So this is what's posted. You don't like the price? OK great. You expressed your opinion on that, thank you.
