IT sucks that my hearing is so bad now but, I'm the only one in the house with bad hearing. My current AVR has developed a hiccup that i don't wish to deal with. Needs are 7.1 with serial control, At least 3 HDMI inputs with quick and reliable switching and hopefully Audyssey

Last year's 2014 Denon X2100W (7.1, Audyssey MultEQ XT, serial port) is currently on clearance at most authorized dealers for only $399 and for $400 more you can get the 2013 Denon X4000 with Audyssey MultEQ XT32.
