A Good Day to Die Hard

June 4, 2013 will be a good day to buy A Good Day to Die Hard. For anyone who missed this high-impact action movie in theaters, Fox is releasing the Blu-ray/DVD and Digital Copy version with a bonus extended cut. If you're hungry for action, this one is a no-brainer.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Do you remember reading Hansel and Gretel when you were younger? This movie is the story of the fabled brother and sister, now bounty hunters, fifteen years after the gingerbread-house incident, looking for revenge. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton do not disappoint in this spin of the classic fairy tale. Paramount will be releasing a limited-edition 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/UV Digital Copy package and a standard Blu-ray/DVD version. Available for pre-order, this Blu-ray is scheduled for release June 11, 2013.

Enter the Dragon: 40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition

I like to save the best for last—the classics. Warner Bros is unleashing the 40th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition of Enter the Dragon. Unfortunately, it's unknown if this will be a new remastered version. I'm going to presume—or at least hope—so, as the present release is lacking a lossless audio soundtrack, offering only a lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Nevertheless, for anyone who has not yet purchased Enter the Dragon, I strongly recommend waiting for this release. The limited edition is available for pre-order and hits stores June 11, 2013.

No Bruce Lee fans?

Will the extended cut of A Good Day To Die Hard be available for the U.S. market?
I will be picking up all of them. Even though the last die hard was the least favorite of the bunch it was still entertaining. And Bruce Lee remastered. totally worth it.
Interested in how the Enter the Dragon transfer is as it was one of my favorite films when I was a kid.

I saw Good Day to Die Hard in theaters and it was decent (might buy), I also saw Hansel and Gretel in theaters and have nothing good to say about it (definitely won't buy).
disappointing to see that Die Hard will be in 1.85:1

All others were 2.35:1, no?
DH5 was the first one in 1.85. The director says they chose it because they thought it was more suited to IMAX and to handheld camerawork.
I will buy Enter The Dragon only if it is an upgrade over the currently released BluRay disc. I'm a fan of the Die Hard series so it is highly likely that I will buy DH5. I'll rent Hansel and Gretel from Netflix.
