just wondering from anyone who owns both discs which one yeilds better results and why. thanks in advance.

neither yields better results. test patterns are test patterns. both are accurate, and both are useful. the spears and munsil disc has some video which is great demo material, shot in 4k, and a whole battery of video processing/motion tests.


the AVSHD disc is free, and also very useful. I find myself using the spears and munsil disc more often though...

I don't about the S&M disk but I like the AVS disk because the thread for it is pretty active should you have any questions.
