I have a pair of B&W 805 large bookshelf speakers. These are really sweet sounding boxes.... very accurate. I'm thinking of using them as L/R in my home theater setup. I'm wondering if they would match up better with the Paradigm C5 center instead of the Definative BP-8 towers.

Do you need the bass that the towers supply?

if its truly home theater and not home theater/music, you need less bass in your speakers and more focus on a good subwoofer. bookshelf speakers should be fine. that being said, the best thing to do is have your front/left, center, and front/right channels match as close as possible (same brand, same series)

but given your choices you described above, the B&W should be ok. as far as matching and what would work best with what, i wouldnt be able to help you...
