Where do the B&W Series 80 Speakers fall in line with the rest of the series? Also, I here the words "special edition" occassionally? What does that mean? How would they compare?

First off, "Series 80" speakers are not on the site. I do not understand what you mean by "B&W Series 80 Speakers". I have a pair of "Nautilus 800 Series" speakers, myself. They're 804s.

The CDM SE (special edition) Series are excellant, as far as I'm concerned. They're much cheaper than the 800 series. BTW, I've heard the CDM 1SE has been replaced by the "CDM1 NT". Visit a dealer!

Lolittle,

I know they are not on the site if you will reread my previous post. I'm not familiar with the "series 80" either. That is why I am asking the question. All I know is that I have some sources that are selling these series of speakers and I, as well as they, know nothing more than they are Matrix 801's and 802's "series 80". I am just interested to know if they were manufactured before, during, or after the Matrix Series 1, 2, or 3. I am asking the question here because local dealers know less than I do and B&W is not very good at returning my emails.

V, sorry about my confusion & ignorance. I've never heard of Matrix 801's and 802's "series 80" speakers.

Frank
Thanks! Do you have any information in regard to the difference between the Matrix Series II and Series III. Are there significant changes?
