I want to use a program like ghost to backup my HTPC main partition, but when I tried to use a version of ghost that I had used in the past, it will not let me back up a partition from a SATA raid array to another IDE drive from a command prompt. Can anyone tell me a good way to make a restorable backup of my main partition, my array is as follows:

2 80 GB WD SATA drives in striped raid array

1 - 40 Gb partition for OS and apps

1 - 120 Gb partition for media and stuff

1 - 10 Gb IDE drive for backup of config files (girder gml, powerstrip profiles, etc.)

I would like to ghost the first partition to the IDE drive, using XP home fully patched. What software do I need?

I'm not sure how ghosting a RAID works, but I know that I have to change the SATA mode from "Enhanced" to "Compatible" mode in the BIOS before Ghost will even start up. I just change it back to enhanced when I'm done imaging.
