Bad experience with DirectTV phone personnel

I guess my open box DTC100 isn't such a bargain after all. I just called Direct to have them send me an access card, and they won't do it. When I suggested, at first politely enough, that this meant that they were not going to have my business in terms of ordering programming, the woman on the phone said, and I quote, "that's your choice." - Pat

Buy a card off of Ebay and trade it in.
Tubes always get the csr name and complain. If they won't connect you to a supervisor call back and talk to someone in a different department like the people who handle changes in your dtv subscription.

Ask them if they would rather have you buy a "test card" of the Internet.


I mean, jeez . . . they are encouraging piracy by refusing your attempts to get legal service.
