Mits 65". I have been waiting for info on the DD-6020 and 8020. I noticed

that some of your international models (specifically the DJ-P500) support

Sage/Faroudja DCDi. Do the 6020 and 8020 have DCDi built in?

Marc,

Actually I believe the 6020 and 8020 were released before Mitsubishi licensed to use the Sage/Faroudja technologies. The DJ-P500 is recently released dvd player. I think there is still the possibility of us seeing a comparable model produced specifically for U.S. distribution in the near future.:)

What images? I never saw a DCDi logo on the Mits 6020 and 8020 dvd players. If I had to guess, I would say they probably use a Genesis chipset for deinterlacing. But certainly not the Sage/Faroudja.

The rear of the 6020 and 8020 are identical to the Toshiba 4700/5700. The remote, while it looks different, has the same features as the toshiba, ie. navi, quick e.a.m etc.. Looks like a toshiba to me!

Zoran Vaddis V

I am sure the 6020 would have the same chip as the 4700.

How does it compare to Sage? Its good, but does still have the chroma bug. Alot of people like the image out of the tos 4700. I had one, I thought the RP56 had a sharper picture. I did see the chroma bug and some combing with the tos 4700, and had problems with MP3 playback.
