I discovered a bad pixel (or at least I think). It is and remains solid black no matter what is showing on the screen. It will go in and out of focus with the lens. In focus, it is perfectly square (pixel) ...
The projector is only a month old, and frankly when using the projector with a movie or images, no one will ever notice.
However, when you use HTPC and have the solid blue desktop, I can see the pixel -- and when you move the white mouse over it, you can really see it (am I anal or what?!) ...
Could this be dust? Should I rub some charged wool socks over the projector? Should I lighten up? Can I really live with a dead pixel -- I mean just ~knowing~ it is there, even if I can't see it, annoys me (my wife just thinks I'm crazy) ...
