I am considering buying a hybrid integrated to experience "tube-warmth". I am considering either the Jolida 1501-rc or the Bada dc-222.


Anyone have any experience with either one or both?


I will pair them with a swan d2.1se which is 84db sensitivity so I need a reasonable amount of power to drive them.

No experience, but I would pose this Q in the 2 channel forum. I do have a tubed cdp made by Jolida that I quite like, and the remote control is a veritable weapon of death. It sounded tons better than the universal Denon player it replaced if only for what I found to be reduced sibilance. JMO. I use it thru a pair of electrostats. My integrated is solid state. Perhaps I overspent on the cdp, oops, but its a nice piece, and could be an easier way to implement the tube sound. I did eye some used BAT hybrid integrateds, but they are quite pricey.

Yeah, I am also considering that possibility or alternatively a tube buffer stage. I just want to be able to sell it if I dont particularly care for it.
