Hey!

I have a BARCO 1209s projector (it was a SEOS-projector). It runs very good the last year, but now I have a problem with the vertical convergence.

Every time when I start the BARCO the red and blue pictures slides down.

(see the pichtures below)

Last week I have changed the vertical board an convergence was ok.

But after a storm at Wednesday the problem comes again (with the new vertical board).

The horizontal convergence is always ok (with the old and the new vertical board).

Can you help me? Whats wrong with my BARCO 1209s?

The vertical board would have been my first guess as well, as that is where the V shift components are.

Possibly you have a problem on the controller board or on the convergence output board. I can repair them if you need someone to look at them.

Well, you might find someone local to repair them, but I'm one of the very few people left servicing CRT boards. Let me know if you're stuck.
