Barco 400 startup

This is a tough one as there's no real indication where the problem is. you have either a bad power supply, H or V board problem, or even a shorted tube.


All you can do is replace the boards one at a time to find out where it is.

Well looking in the dark i notice the other led lighting up also , starts bright then fades a little also a green led on the power supply board fades out after start.


I am now readjusting all the pots i have info on , and right now it's just led 1 going on right after the crt's are switched on and they are switched of immediately so guess i'm getting close to the problem

Horizantal deflection + EHTR board R 76 1268

Or the Switched mode power supply R 76 1442
