Barco Balder CinemaScope 4000 Lumen Laser Projector- 50% Off

SOLD- PLEASE REMOVE As part of my home theater liquidation sale, I’m selling my Barco Balder CinemaScope 4k laser projector for 50% off. (I will be listing my screen, speakers, and processor in separate listings shortly- also for 50%+ off)

The Barco Balder CinemaScope is $39k new but I am listing (firm) for $19,500.

Some highlights of the projector:

-4k laser projector

-4,000 lumens. (Note: I previously cited different lumens but was informed that was for the non cinemascope version). Next projector up in lumens is Sony 5000, which is $60K MSRP

-Automatic aspect ratio detection—can show all aspect ratios

-Does not require an anamorphic lens so can save substantial money

-Laser phosphor light engine with lifetime of more than 20,000 hours

-Based on same optical engine as Barco Loki, used in the CEDIA headquarters reference theater

-Won CEDIA’s 2017 Best New Product Award

-Additional information can be found in the attached from Barco.

Background on my projector specifically

-Purchased new from The Erskine Group two years ago and is under warranty

-Calibrations and firmware updates by Ken Whitcomb

-Projector has been in my projector room since purchase (smoke free house)

-I do not have the original box

-I am currently using on a 159” wide Stewart 130 screen. Easily lights up a larger screen

I am listing for local pick up only. I live outside Louisville KY- come take a trip on the Bourbon Trail of distilleries and get two birds with one stone!

It’s challenging to take accurate pictures with a phone, but below are some screen shots

Hi KT

I have the EN41 lens.

The laser has been used 1,911 hours and it is rated for 20,000 hours- so approx 90.4 percent life. (By my math, another 18+ years of good use )

Thanks for responding. Ya...that’s alot of life left. Lol. According to Barco’s calculator I would need the EN63 1.2-1.7 lens.

Not sure if this affects anything - but I run on 159” wide Stewart 130 screen that I’m also going to list shortly.
