I recently got the chance to upgrade from a Barco Data 801s (quite silent, but it had some burn and wear) to a Graphics 801s. Since then, the noise from the fans has annoyed me as I now have more difficulties picking up subtle surround effects during quiet scenes.
I'm thinking about replacing the two 120x120x25 fans on the back with a Papst 4212FGL . This is the spec I've got from http://www.panaflo.com :
Papst 4212FGL
120X120X25mm
12 Volt, 105 mA, 1,25 Watt
94 m³/std 1.600 U/min
Does this fan provide enough airflow compared to the original fans ? I'm planning to use the Graphics as a Data, which means not to exceed 60 Khz scanrate.
