Barco serial - changing to source 9x

227 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  secstate
I have put together a serial setup for Girder 4 (with a lot of help from MikeC at Promixis), and it's almost done. Controlling the projector works flawlessly. But I don't seem to be able to change to the 9x sources. For those who does not know Barco, you have sources 1 and up to 5 (wasn't it 5? I never go outside 3 and 2...), and you can have an extra block (that holds all settings) for each refresh rate by going to source 91, 92 and so on. I use it right now for the burn-in cycle of my new tubes. Regular 3 block has contrast/brightness adjusted for the room, while 93 has them both down to 30 for a good burn-in. So does anybody know?

That is an excellent question.

But I have no idea what the answer is. :(

I actually need to spent more time playing with the blocks, etc. I usually just ignore them altogether. :D

Of course it's an excellent question, I'm the one asking it! :D
I don't know the answer to your question either but with a RCVDS 800 you have as many inputs as the RCVDS. Card 1 is input 1 and 91 and so forth. What I have never tried is how you get to input 10 and does 910 work? I only have 6-7 cards in my RCVDS at the moment.
I'm goona guess that would be 90 although it's just a guess. I only have 5 cards in my RCVDS.

Actually that is a good guess. I hadn't thought of that.
