Does your lcd or dlp front projector allow you to adjust color saturation,

hue or sharpness when your dvd player is sending a progreesive signal?

My IF does not but it sounds like it is standard for all digital FP's to be

like this.I find this strange but maybe someone can enlighten me on this

as I find it hard to believe that these basic calibrations are not there.I mean

you could spend a lot on a first rate progressive scan dvd player and what

would be the point without the ability to properly calibrate.

I think sometimes it depends on the input you are using. Some allow most settings on Component input and none on DVI. Some allow it on both.


Most though have RGB gains, and constrasts, etc you can adjust for your color.


My IF 7205 allows color and hue on component, plus other settings for sharpness. I know it also has the individual RGB color adjustments for dvi.
