I am a complete audio newbie and have been trying to research and read all I can to install a new audio system. I would like to have two speakers in my living room and two speakers on my patio that is adjacent to my living room. These will be connected to a receiver (which in turn is connected to an Apple Aiport Express).

Can someone please review the products and give me any advice? Are the speakers compatible with the receiver? What would be required to have my HDTV hooked up to my receiver for that the sound comes out the living room speakers. Any advice would help. Thanks

Indoor receiver: Sherwood RX4109 2-Channel 100-Watt Stereo Receiver

Indoor Speakers: Sony SS-B3000 Bookshelf Speakers with 8-Inch Woofer

Outdoor speakers: Yamaha NS-AW150W 2-Way Outdoor Speakers

No issues, speakers are compatible.

Connect living room speakers to A terminals, outdoor speakers to B terminals (page 6 of manual).

You can switch to A only speakers, B only or A and B (manual page 8). Both speakers will play the same source.

Use standard RCA cables from the analog audio output from the back of TV to the receiver's aux or tape inputs. (manual page 6).

Use a cable like this to connect the AE to the CD or Tape inputs. (page 6)

That's it.
