Basic Video Question
This may not be the correct forum (or site for that matter) but I assume you folks may know this simple answer, or can point me to the correct place to ask.
I just got married this weekend and a relative videoed the wedding with a Hi8 video camera. I want to transfer this to VHS tape to send copies. I have an older SONY 8MM (not Hi8) camera that I think will be able to play this format back to record to my VCR. If so, will I lose anything significant by not using a Hi8 camera to make the copy to VCR format tape?
