I just installed 6 bass shakers. Why do the only work when I play the DVD? I would like to have them work when playing the playstation 2. Will they (and/or my subwoofer) only work on THX? I have a Pioneer Elite TX-36 reciever.

Is your sub and TX36 setup to send bass out the LFE sub channel or do you use full range front speakers?


Sounds like you are not getting enough bass out your sub channel for normal 2 channel listening or playstation stuff to get the bass shakers going.
