OK, so I have this space under my steps that has remained unfinished since I started using the space, over a year. I know, terrible.
So the question is this, I want to try and get this done once and for all, but before I do, I needed to move my wiring. I am replacing my rear towers with some real surrounds, so the wire needed moved up, so I had to pull out the insulation that was there and this is what got me thinking.
As you can see, each stair cavity has the OC703 and then the large space underneath is filled with normal pink insulation and then the face was a single layer of OC703. I was curious if it would make a difference if I doubled up the OC703 on the face there, or is the single layer enough? I have the extra OC703, so if it would make a difference I will double it up, but if it does not really make a difference, then I will stick with the single layer I already had as opposed to wasting it.
Hope that makes sense what I am asking...is more better or worse in this case or is it a wash/personal preference and can go either way.
Thanks.
