Have the RS1 projector and Anthem D2 combination, no HD or BD player yet. Used an older upconverting player but it is seriously lacking in the image it is sending to the RS1 (don't have the D2 yet so player is connected directly ti HDMI 1 on RS1).


Am considering the Samsung 1200 for it's reported good performance on SD DVD, but have not read about it's compatibility for 1080p24 with D2 & RS1.


Was considering the Pioneer Elite HD1, since it appears new D2 f'ware is succesful with RS1 for 1080p24, but now a new Elte player is on the horizon for later this summer with additional functions I would like (CD play ability for one)


A bad time to be looking for a BD player...

Check the Sammy 1200 thread at the top, there's 24p discussion in there. Check the Pio thread up top, there's 24p discussion there. And last but not least (probably the best place) check the D2 thread in the Amps, Receivers, and PrePro forum. There's talk there about 24p and the few BD players that do it.


And I'm going to lock this thead since all the info you need is in the other threads.
