This thread is for finding the BEST BD Player that supports NETFLIX app in HD 5.1 Audio, as well as playing .AVI and .MP4 files using DLNA Windows 7 Server features.


I have yet to even find a BD Player that can DO BOTH.

Thanks Teachsac, but only a couple Models from Panasonic such as 110/210 are supporting HD5.1 Audio via NetFlix app Stream at this time LG does not support it, and will not have a firmware upgrade for LG's 5XX series BD Players, only their newly released 6XX series as LG is working with NetFlix now to incorporate it into their newer 6XX series BD Players.

That's the help me choose a player thread where all requests in this particular player go. Right now only the Panasonic and PS3 BD players support 5.1 audio with NF.
