I've been changing caps to my pj's convergence module in order to get rid of video noise in picture.

I somehow managed to burn one safety resistor (SR2) and I wonder if I could just put a fuse instead of new resistor (hard to find)? If I have understood right Barco uses these 0.1ohm resistors as a fuse.

Ok, I got couple of new 0.1ohm /0.7W resistors and I replaced the burned one (SR2) but it smoked again.

Before replacing the safety resistor I put back all the old caps. Maybe there was some component going to blow (causing noise to picture) and when I was replacing caps it just broke totally?

I unplugged the jumper J100 that supplies the +M voltage and tested if the resistor still blows... it didn't. So the fail must be after jumper J100.

There is a bunch of transistors / fets after J100 any guessess wich one is the first to blow?
