Hey,
First of all, English is not my native language but ill try as best as i can.
Next week i want a theater setup in my bedroom for watching films using my chromecast but i got a few issues.
Does someone know if streaming netflix to chromecast outputs a surround sound audio?
If so my television has only a rca (red/white) audio out, so i cant plug my chromecast directly in my tv.
I have found this device: http:/ /www . ebay. com/itm/HDMI-to-HDMI-Optical-SPDIF-RCA-L-R-Audio-Extractor-Converter-Audio-Splitter-/191461513595 (remove spaces)
So if i put the chromecast into that and then a s/pdif into my reciever, will it work?
My reciever is a JVC RX 7032V 7.1, but only 5.1 speakers attatched.
It says "Home theater receiver with Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES and Pro Logic II"
But im not sure which format is put out by the chromecast and / or the extractor.
Does it work?
Thanks
