Hi all!

I need a little help in choosing an amp

or 2 or 3.
I'm planning on buying a

pair of Emp Tek E55tis for 2 ch. music.

They'll be in the same room as my HT.

(The Emp's will flank my Jamo towers).

The amp I'm currently using is a 2 ch.

Soundcraftsmen Dj600 pro that I believe

has some leaky caps. (My speakers are

starting to crackle a bit). So, I was

planning on getting the XPA-3 so I could

free up another channel in my reciever,

but I can get 3 of the Behringers

cheaper than 1 Emo and have 6

channels. So what should I do??? I'm all

for saving money, but I also want good

sound quality for music. What would

you do??? My current set up for HT is this: (if it matters)

Yamaha RX-V765

Soundcraftsmen DJ600 pro

Oppo BDP-83

Jamo s506 5 speaker set

HSU VTF-2 MK3

Klipsch PSW-10

Klipsch bipole rears

Thanks in advance!

I'm sort of in the same boat; I decided to use pro amps in my HT setup as well. I have a Crown xls 1500 On order for my main L,R and I'll be using another pro amp for my main C. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with the same amp for my C; I see a Refurbed QSC GX3 for $100 less on fleabay. I've read mixed sentiment about the Behringer amps, but Peavy, Crown (XLS series) and QSC all have pretty good reviews.

Thanks johnson636! I'll definatly look

into those three you mentioned. I can

probably swing the XPA-3 with no

problem, but if I went with the cheaper

pro amps, the savings could be better

spent elsewhere. I really don't need to

run the rear surrounds off of seperate

amps as I'm sure my Yammy has plenty

of juice for those. Decisions, decisions.

Well if that's the case, I'd go with the XPA-3. Deep pockets makes this an easy choice
