Hi,

does anyone know a way to get the Behringer Feedback Destroyer editor software to run on Windows XP? For me, both the version available from www.behringer.com and the "unofficial" version 2 terminate immediately as soon as MIDI I/O is about to occur, without visible error message.

Behringer support so far has been unhelpful, insofar as stating that no timeline for a "Windows XP version" (hrngh) of the software is set.

Perhaps there is a workaround?

Thanks!

Hi Olli,

not that it will help much, but my experience with both versions of the editor has been just the same. I have now become quite good at setting the filters manually on the BFD face plate...

Well, I know this is no help for you, but "it works for me." Have you tried telling XP to run the program in a backwards compatibility mode, basically telling it that it is running under Win98 or something like that? I believe you can make this setting by right-clicking on the binary and poking around in the menus.
