Belden 8761 - suitable as sub cable?

The shop where I bought my sub from threw in a length of Belden 8761 as the sub cable. I've used it and it works fine. But one thing is when I checked the specs the 8761 is rated at 64 ohm impedance. I thought usually sub signal cables are 75 ohm. So is there anything the matter with the 8761 at 64 ohms?

No. You're not trying to do any impedance matching when connecting a sub. It is also a low frequency signal, so most of the specs that make coax good or bad don't matter. Most use RG-6 or RG-59. These just happen to be 75 Ohm, but 64 Ohm is fine. And, as you said, it works.
