No question the BenQ is superior although it's $2+K or so more than the Sharp. The Sharp 9000 is two generations ago, without DVI, IMO orangey reds and neon lime greens, with maybe half - well, maybe not quite - the contrast of the BenQ.
OTOH, if you check one out in person and love it, and you really need lens shift and a longer throw, and don't want to spend the extra cash, why not?
There'll always be something better somewhere, usually for more.
