I've created this thread (as per Fallos suggestion) to allow a place for all of the PB6100 owners to post their settings.


PLEASE post the following in addition to your settings:

• Type/Brand of screen (if DIY, then be detailed)
• Diagonal screen size/format
• Projector placement (tabletop, ceiling mount)
• Calibration method (Avia, Video Essentials, THX Optimizer, other)
• Input (PC, Y/Pb/Pr, S-video, Composite)

I think that this will be a great resource for us.


I'll be using Avia as soon as my screen is complete, so I'll post mine then. Currently, i'm running out of the box settings with the exception of utilizing the Economy mode.

OK,


After calibrating with AVIA I ended up with the following:


Contrast -15

Brightness +23

color +4

Tint -1

Phase 16


This is with all settings on my phillips q50 on default and the blacker than black on


With these settings the pic is significantly better than any of the factory settings.


My screen is 107" diag. 4\\3 diy with screen material from ebay. room is fairly dark.
