I am using my 6200 through HTPC via VGA to upscale DVDs and the mode is set to video (cannot choose cinema). I recently purchased an HD box which is component out and requires a component to VGA adaptor. With component in you can choose cinema over video. I was watching Bad Boys II last night on HBO and the difference in black levels and over all picture was significantly better. Is the white segment of the color wheel still on in video through HTPC. How can I get the same black levels through HTPC. What are the differences between video and cinema. Can they be altered through the service menu.
